Overnight Oats
Simple, quick and healthy! Overnight oats is the most convenient breakfast option. You can easily prepare it the night before and enjoy it on-the-go.
All of the ingredients in our overnight oats recipe have anti-inflammatory properties. Oats, whether you prefer rolled oats or oat bran, are especially notable for their health benefits. Hildegard of Bingen, the German Benedictine abbess who was also a prolific medical writer and practitioner, and Sebastian Kneipp, one of the forefathers of the naturopathic medicine movement, recognized the healing effects of oats long ago.
Oats have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and they are rich in satisfying dietary fibre making them ideal for addressing the various symptoms associated with menopause.

Ingredients
Makes one serving:
Fruit of your choice |
Orange, pomegranate, fig, dark grapes - whatever is in season or appeals to you at the moment! |

oats (adjust the quantity accordingly if you want to prepare for a week in advance) |
5-6 nuts |
e.g., almonds, walnuts - finely chopped |

Greek or plain yoghurt |
Approximately 125ml |

Method
- Place all the dry ingredients except for the XbyX products in a glass or bowl and mix them with the wet ingredients.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight. The oats will absorb the liquid and the flaxseeds will swell.
- In the morning, your overnight oats will have a nice creamy consistency. You can also prepare them in advance. They keep well in the refrigerator for up to five days.
- Before you dig in, give them a stir, add yoghurt and the XbyX Daily Energy - Protein Superfood Shake mixed with a little water or other liquid of your choice.
- Finally, add your choice of fruits, nuts or almonds. Add XbyX Think Clearly and feel free to add any of your other favourite XbyX plant extracts as well.
